This month a handful of new advisors joined Compass Partners to help shape the direction of the organization as it expands nationally. Compass is proud to welcome to the Board of Directors Charles DeSantis who serves at the Associate Vice President and Chief Benefits Officer of Georgetown University. Charles has served in a number of executive roles in universities and fortune 100 companies and has also spearheaded international philanthropic initiatives. His most recent efforts led him to launch an arts institute in Kenya.

There are also a number of new additions to the Board of Advisors for Compass Partners. We are pleased to welcome Barbara Crocker, Robert Egger, Andy Shallal and Alan Webber. Barbara Crocker is a Georgetown Alumnus known for her extensive work as an advocate for education, having been awarded the university’s most prestigious honor, the John Carroll Award. Robert Egger is the Founder and President of DC Central Kitchen and has become world-renowned for his social entrepreneurial endeavors. Andy Shallal is the founder and owner of Busboys and Poets, a chain of progressive restaurants now scaling nationally. Alan Webber is the founder of Fast Company and a globally-recognized business author.
