Our vision is to make the Compass Fellowship accessible to all students. If young people have the inclination to pursue social justice, and the boldness to take that initiative, they deserve to have a community of resources that inspires, enables, and sustains their impact. Any time a student is willing to dedicate energy to institutionalizing social change, and fails because the necessary support network is not there, we all lose. By expanding our program, we hope to strengthen this support network for students and to impact the many more students, the same way we’ve impacted the lives of our first 14 fellows at Georgetown. This year, we have set out to carry the program to three new schools, starting with American University.
The Prudential Foundation has generously offered to match any gift that we receive in this fundraising campaign up to the amount of $100,000. Raising this amount would enable the Compass Fellowship to expand to 7 new schools, inspire 100 new fellows every year, and effectively sponsor over 100 new student-led social ventures annually. We have set out to raise this amount and we’re eternally grateful for your support.
